How It Works

TrackYa Smart Tags use a unique ID system that helps provides a safety net for your items should they ever get lost. Powered by Kool Krew’s digital facility connecting you to our lost and found service. You are also connected to SITA World Tracer, the world wide luggage tracing system. Smart Stickers, Smart Key Rings and Smart Passport covers too! Along with a Smart Tag for your luggage, stick a TrackYa Smart Sticker onto your smaller valuables, secure your keys onto one of our Smart Key Rings or use our unique TrackYa Smart Passport Covers to give you extra contactability should your passport ever get lost.

Get Going!

Add your chosen contact details and any messages that you would like to convey to anyone who may find your items. Once activated, your items will be safeguarded for a year. After a year you can buy you a new subscription with all the benefits of security or buy a new Kool Krew TrackYa Smart Product to give you an extra 12 months membership for free.

The ‘Finder’ scans or taps your Smart Tag, sticker or passport cover with their smart phone and reports it as lost via our platform.

Once the ‘Finder’ has reported your item as lost, TrackYa will send you messages via SMS & email to provide you with the platform to reconnect with your lost items.

Frequently Asked Questions

Koolkrew Smart Tag is a unique ID system that helps provides a safety net for your lost property. A Smart Tag is the tag or label within which the digital facilitation for the Lost & Found connection is placed. REGISTER-FIND-CONTACT REGISTER: Register your smart tag through our website database and include an optional message for the potential finder such as “reward offered to the finder of my bag” FIND: The finder scans or taps your tag with their smart phone /devices and reports it “FOUND” via our Koolkrew platform. CONTACT: Koolkrew will send you messages via SMS and email and provide the platform for you to arrange to be re-united with your lost items.

When you buy any product from us you will automatically receive a 12 month membership. After your twelve months have expired, you have the option to extend for a further twelve months for £19.99. However, each time you buy another product from us, your membership will be extended automatically for a further twelve months at no additional cost.

Unlimited use of our Lost & Found platform. • Your travel tags and security labels will be logged with the SITA World Tracer System. More than 90% of airports and airlines are members of SITA and because you will also become a member, this greatly enhances the chances of airports and airlines ability to identifying your lost items. Upon the identification of your items, the airport or airline will contact you via our app to notify you of the whereabouts of those items. • Unlimited amount of email and SMS text message alerts regarding the status of your lost items. • The option to enter your passport expiry date in our app so that you can receive SMS text messages and emails 6 months, 3 months and 1 month prior to expiry of your passport. This is a very useful feature serving to remind you to renew your passport.

No, all they will need to do is scan the QR or NFC code on your lost item and they will be presented with a contact page to enter their details and a short 'found' message to be sent to you. Your item will also have a World Tracer number which is connected to the baggage retrieval systems used by airports and airlines.

After the finder has been directed to your online contact form they will see your personal message about your lost item. Here, the finder will have the opportunity to report your item found and include their details. You will be immediately notified via SMS text message and email that your item has been found. By clicking on the link contained in you alert, you can contact the finder to arrange a way to retrieve your lost item.

Yes. Trackya is compliant with the FAA regulations. We at Trackya are permanently looking out for the latest security updates from all the different organizations that regulate air travel. Trackya uses a 2.59 Watt-hour (720 mAh) battery, which is way below the maximum threshold that regulators require*. *The maximum battery size for a PED (personal electronic device) on a flight is 100 Watt-hour. Trackya also stays off while flying, making it totally safe and compliant TSA, FAA, IATA and other official regulations.
